Step 3
In this step you need to create a squeeze page and set up your autoresponder.
A squeeze page is the same as a splash page, except it has an opt-in form for people to sign up to your list. Your squeeze page will be viewed on Traffic Exchanges for just a few seconds, therefore it will need to be very brief, to the point and eye catching. You will want to use this FREE service at "Affiliate Toolbox":
Click the banner above and sign up for free, then verify your account. You will want to watch the videos to help you in creating your squeeze page(s).
There are a couple other sites that allow you to create your squeeze pages for free. Those are Free Capture Page Generator and Easy Hits 4 U where you can create 3 squeeze pages at each site.
Feel FREE to copy the basic format of my squeeze page as I have tested many and these pull the best response so far. As stated above, watch the videos at "Affiliate Toolbox" to see how to create your squeeze page(s) there. Just a word of advice, use your photo so you can begin to brand yourself. People like to see who they are in business with and you'll get a better response from your squeeze page(s) if you use your photo. The pages below are extremely effective because they grab the surfer's attention, have few words to read and are personal because they have my picture on them.
Here are FREE squeeze pages I use and created:
My EasyHits4U Page1
My EasyHits4U Page2
My EasyHits4U Page3
Here are squeeze pages I use and created using the AIOP program in Step 5:
My AIOP Page1
My AIOP Page2
My AIOP Page3
My AIOP Page4
My AIOP Page5
My AIOP Page6
My AIOP Page7
My AIOP Page8
My AIOP Page9
Here are two videos I made that show you how to create a squeeze page using the AIOP program above (In Step 5).
An autoresponder automatically sends a message to anyone who inputs their information into the opt-in form on your squeeze page. It will also store their information in your contact list and continue to send messages to them as long as they are subscribed to your
autoresponder. If you have questions on how to use "Listwire" above, use this eBook by Carol Walczak owner of "PromoLotto" and "Build Your List With Ease". She has done a visual of how to use "Listwire" you will find very helpful. Click here for the pdf eBook. I think the Listwire screenshots begin on page 4 as she leads you through setting up your autoresponder. Carol has done a wonderful job in this ebook.
Now click the "messages" tab, this is where you create the messages you want to send to your prospects. Let me know and I can forward the messages I have to you for your autoresponder. Be sure to include your "Steps" website URL and your email in your messages and keep it short and friendly. Your followup messages should be timed at about every 2 to 5 day intervals so your referrals don't get information overload and unsubscribe immediately.
Now hover over "prospects" click "subscription form" then "Click here to add a form". Above and below the form you will see "Click here to edit this text". You could add "For FREE Information" or "Instant Access" or what ever you wish to be included above or below the subscription form.
Finally, on the main subscriptions page you should see the form you created, click "get code" and copy everything there. Now return to your squeeze page maker and insert the code where indicated "HTML" code. When finished with your squeeze page, copy the url to your browser and subscribe to your own autoresponder.
It's essential to track your squeeze page/s because it will give you some vital information about your marketing efforts. The "Affiliate Toolbox" program above is a great tracker system. Click "Websites" then "Add Tracker" and paste your squeeze page URL into the tracker. The tracker rotator URL is the one you will use in Traffic Exchanges. In order to save me some time I setup all my links in the tracker rotator URL so I don't have to keep changing links in each Traffic Exchange. I just change the URL in the Tracker Rotator and it is changed in all my Traffic Exchanges.
You are now ready to build your list and business but first you'll need to finish creating your own version of this "Steps Campaign". This is addressed in Step 4. Take your time in building your "Steps" website. Don't be tempted to short cut anything as prospects will notice. Some people can whip out this website in 24 hours while most of us take days and even a week or two. It all depends on how much time you have. Don't worry about it if it takes you awhile. It will be so worth it when it is finally finished. Remember, this is your business. Take it seriously and know that patience will pay off big time. Contact me if you get stumped.
